lee Sheldon joins the PCS Management Team
Lee Sheldon has recently joined PCS as Business Development Manager South further strengthening the management team. Lee will be based in the South of England and will be focusing particularly on the London area. Lee was until recently been working for Optare and has a wealth of experience working in a customer care and supporting role. Paul Clark Services are pleased to welcome Lee to the business in his new position.

Engineering Quality Control Supervisor
Paul Clark Services is please to announce that Paul Durose has been promoted to the position of Quality Control Supervisor. Paul will be directly involved with the auditing of all aspects of engineering quality and standards and health and safety of engineers working for PCS. This recent change to the management structure forms part of the continual improvement process included in the businesses Quality System and Policy, ISO9001.

DVSA announcement
Consultation: increased speed limit proposal for HGVs
The government recently launched a consultation on plans to increase the speed limit for HGVs on dual carriageways.
The proposals would see the speed limit increasing from 50 mph to 60 mph.

Increased speed limit on single carriageways
Transport Minister Claire Perry also recently announced the move to raise the speed limit for lorries on single carriageway roads to 50 mph.
This is part of a package of measures to cut congestion, reduce dangerous overtaking and help get the country moving.

Management restructure
Paul Clark Services Ltd are pleased to announce that Adrian Jones, ex Arriva The Shires has joined the organisation as the new Area Manager South, and additionally as part of this restructure Ray McAlle formally General Manager has now been retitled as Area Manager North. These changes form part of Paul Clark Services ongoing business strategy and will result in improvements to customer service and the business in general.

Dave' Hadrian's Wall Walk
Engineer Rob Harper is organising a sponsored event to walk the length of Hadrian's wall starting at the East coast and walking to the West, covering 87 miles in 3 days, carrying full kit. There are 10 volunteers involved in the walk which is hoping to raise as much money as possible for CANCER RESEARCH UK, Charity.
The event has been organised in memory of David Kenwight who died of cancer - 29th October 1955 to 4th February this year.
